To share, celebrate, educate, and promote the history of Mexico to San Diego and its visitors.

Events for the House of Mexico

House of Mexico's Monthly Meeting is the second Monday of each month, 7:00pm, Sherman Heights Community Center, 2258 Island Ave, San Diego, CA 92102-2921. 

House of Mexico Lawn Program is scheduled for March 7, 2010 this year. It is an annual event at Balboa Park with live mariachi music, ballet folkorico dance, and delicious Mexican food. House of Mexico is a community partner with the Media Arts Center and the 2010 17th Annual San Diego Latino Film Festival. The festival begins March 11, 2010 and continues until March 21, 2010. For more information click on this link: San Diego Latino Film Festival

Ethnic Food Fair a grand event attended by thousands and is hosted by the Houseof Pacific Relations on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. The International Cottages serve traditional food from around the world and provide cultural entertainment. For more information go to www.sdhpr.org.

Balboa Park's December Nights and the International Christmas Festival is an annual event that is held on the first weekend in December. Most of the museums at Balboa Park are open for free to the public while the International Cottages serve traditional food from their countries and present cultural entertainment.
