The purpose of the House of Mexico is:To share, celebrate, educate, and promote the rich art, culture, and history of Mexico to San Diego and its visitors. |
About the House of MexicoThe House of Mexico is one of the next international cottages to be built in Balboa Park. The specific purposes of the House of Mexico are to provide educational, cultural, and non-profit services in coordination and in conjunction with the member houses of the House of Pacific Relations and to foster understanding and goodwill beneficial to the total community. A major objective of the House of Mexico is to promote liberty, peace, justice and better understanding among peoples of all nationalities, races and ethnic groups and promote the development of our rich Mexican culture. The House of Mexico shall reach its purpose and goals by initiating, preparing, promoting and presenting educational and cultural programs representative of different aspects of Mexican culture of the benefit of the community. The House of Mexico is also working with AT&T to raise money for our building fund. Click on the AT&T link and for every AT&T service you purchase through our website, the House of Mexico will receive funds to go towards building our very own casita.
